ITEC' BUSINESS ADVISORY SERVICE WILL CONTINUE TO PROVIDE HIGH QUALITY, LOW COST SERVICES UNDER THE NEW ACCELERATE SMALL BUSINESS GROWTH PROJECT.

Illawarra ITeC has again been recognised as the premium business advisory service provider in South Eastern NSW with the awarding of $680,000 funding by the Australian Government to deliver Small Business Advisory Services throughout the Illawarra, Shoalhaven, South Coast & Southern Highlands areas.

The SmallBusiness Advisory Service Program is an Australian Government Initiative and this funding will enable ITeC to provide high quality, low cost business advisory services that will be targeted toward improving the business and/or financial management skills of participating small businesses and to maximise innovation and sustainability as well as profitability and/or growth potential
Small business make a significant contribution to these local economies and this funding will ensure that quality business advice, workshops and seminars are available through our “Accelerate Small Business Growth Project” delivered by ITeC’s BECs, Illawarra BEC, Shoalhaven BEC, South Coast Region BEC and Southern Highlands BEC.

Tony O’Connor, ITeC’s Chief Executive Officer welcomed the announcement today and appreciated the support and visit today by Federal local MPs, Sharon Bird and Stephen Jones.  Mr O’Connor said this was a boost to the small business services ITeC has been delivering throughout these regions for the past 22 years.
